Leafeon plush

It's finally done!

I have wanted to make this for a long time, but just couldn't decide which pose to pick. I also had a hard time finding suitable fabric.

At first I thought to use fleece, since it would've been nice to continue the tradition of my fleece eeveelutions, but there wasn't any pale yellow fleece to be found ANYWHERE... so I looked and looked, and finally found some terry cloth with the right color and I actually did start making a leafeon plush from it, but I quickly discovered that with that fabric, the result wouldn't be what I had wanted.

So I went back to my search, and finally what did I find if not the softest, downiest teddy cloth I had ever seen...and I knew it was perfect. There wasn't matching green however, so I had to make the leaves from fleece.

The eyes and nose are made of some regular white tricot which I painted, and for the paw pads I used dark brown tricot.

These plushies seem to keep getting bigger and bigger, since this is 17 inces tall (from belly to ear tips), and 20 inches long, surpassing my Jolteon which surpasses my Glaceon which surpasses my Espeon and so on...


The pattern is my own desing.

This will be my last plushie in a while, because now that autumn is here, that means my fall semester is starting and I won't be doing much anything except reading, reading, reading, and then reading some more for the next few months.
