Leafeon plush by Fenrienne Leafeon plush by Fenrienne
It's finally done!

I have wanted to make this for a long time, but just couldn't decide which pose to pick. I also had a hard time finding suitable fabric.

At first I thought to use fleece, since it would've been nice to continue the tradition of my fleece eeveelutions, but there wasn't any pale yellow fleece to be found ANYWHERE... so I looked and looked, and finally found some terry cloth with the right color and I actually did start making a leafeon plush from it, but I quickly discovered that with that fabric, the result wouldn't be what I had wanted.

So I went back to my search, and finally what did I find if not the softest, downiest teddy cloth I had ever seen...and I knew it was perfect. There wasn't matching green however, so I had to make the leaves from fleece.

The eyes and nose are made of some regular white tricot which I painted, and for the paw pads I used dark brown tricot.

These plushies seem to keep getting bigger and bigger, since this is 17 inces tall (from belly to ear tips), and 20 inches long, surpassing my Jolteon which surpasses my Glaceon which surpasses my Espeon and so on... ^^;

The pattern is my own desing.

This will be my last plushie in a while, because now that autumn is here, that means my fall semester is starting and I won't be doing much anything except reading, reading, reading, and then reading some more for the next few months.

Thanks! :) I really can't choose between umbreon and leafeon, I like them both so much and to me, they both look equally good. ^^; I guess it depends on which one you like better, since you're the one making it.

Lol,I agree.I thought I'd do both,but Leafeon might be harder,because its leaves for its tail and ears are harder to sew together.Plus I can't find he materials for both.Maybe Umbreon might be possible for starters.I'll try Leafeon another day after I'm done.:)

That's true, if you don't have much plushie making experience, umbreon would definitely be a better choice since its design is simpler than leafeon's. Good luck with the plushie, hope it turns out well! :)

I've already made every eevee's evolutios except flareon and vaporeon, they're all in my gallery. So, you can find espeon there as well, though it was one of my first pokemon plushies, and there's so much in it I would change if I could... ^^;
