Altaria plushby ~Fenrienne

I decided to give my eeveelution project a brief rest, and make an Altaria plush.

The plush is 7 and 1/2 inches tall, and 10 inches long, and is 100% hand sewn. Its body and eyes are made of fleece, but i'm not sure what to call the fabric the cloud, beak and cheeks are made of...
Also, the cloud was painstaking to make, since not only did it took very long to sew, it was very difficult to fill too! >_o

The plumes/antennaes/whatever have iron wire inside, so they are completely bendable. ^^

How is the cloud part made and of what kind of fabric? I am planning to make a life-sized one over the summer, so I'd like to have as much info as I can get.

The cloud's material is some downy, stretchy fabric that resembles minky, but is not just as soft (though I have no idea what it is actually called). The cloud is basically made from a single, longs piece, which is stuffed just enough that it can be bent easily, and is then sewn around the bird's belly. The cloud's bumps are made with a few stiches here and there just before attaching it to the body.
